Mitzvah Committee

THE KHN MITZVAH COMMITTEE

Our mission: to foster a Jewish community where values of tzedekah and tikkun olam are translated into actions both to assist members of the Kehilat HaNahar community in times of need, as well to better the world one task at a time.

Our motto: Actions speak louder than meetings.

To Get Involved and/or Stay Informed: Every little bit helps. You never know how you can help. Contact Marjorie (marjorie.kaplan@gmail.com), Julie (jaglet@aol.com), or Kelly (littleshul@kehlihathanar.org).

Our process: In an emergent situation, person(s) involved (either someone in need of assistance of anyone who learns of someone in need of assistance) contact Kelly at the Shul.  Kelly will contact the Mitzvah Committee point person and/or membership of what is needed ensuring complete discretion and confidence.

Social Action Projects: If you have ideas for a social action or mitzvah project, let us know.
