Dear Hevre,

I'm looking forward to a festive Shabbat with you, followed by a Purim celebration!

We are meeting in person this evening at 7:00 pm as well as online.

***This evening Sandra Herman will be sponsoring an Oneg in memory of her sister Susan Shapiro, z’l.

Tomorrow morning at 10:00 am we will meet in person for Shabbat Zimra as well as online.

Purim is around the corner, officially on Monday evening and Tuesday. Shake your groggers (we have plenty!) and bring out your costumes for our KHN celebration this Sunday at 10:00 am.

Also, please bring cash or a check if you are able as we will be fulfilling the mitzvah of matanot la’evyonim, giving to the poor. In this case, we will be giving to Mazon: A Jewish Response to Hunger as well as to Doctors Without Borders/MSF who are helping those in Ukraine, Turkey and Syria, among other crisis spots.

If you cannot attend our Purim celebration, please consider giving online to these organization to fulfill one of the mitzvot of Purim.

The other 3 mitzvot for Purim are hearing the Megillah read, sending gifts to friends/ mishloach manot, and having a special meal, a seudah.
