B'nei Mitzvah

Once children reach the age of 13, they are considered adults in the Jewish religion.

Members of our religious school are eligible to have a bar mitzvah (boys) or bat mitzvah (girls) should they choose. Preparation involves lots of work with our Shul tutor, Joan Loeb, and with Rabbi Janine.  Only children who are enrolled in Shul School and whose parents are KHN members can have their b'nei mitzvah at KHN.
